Times Now High-pitch action has taken the Pickleball World Championships 2025 by storm. Featuring some of the sport’s biggest names, the tournament has already created quite a buzz. One of pickleball’s most prominent ambassadors, Anna Leigh Waters, delivered a fiery performance, while early upsets, including top contender Jack Sock’s defeat to underdog Tom Protezk — along with a vibrant spectacle both on and off the court- gave fans plenty to savour.

From the XGLOsive neon-light showcase to the star-studded Celebrity Pickleball Showdown, the event has set an electrifying tone for the week ahead, scheduled from November 4 to November 9.

What is drawing even more attention, however, is the growing international presence at the Championships. Participation from countries around the world has risen from just 1% last year to 5% this year, according to the Carvana PPA Tour.

From nations like Canada and India to emerging contenders across Asia, Europe, and Latin America, many countries are rapidly embracing pickleball. What began as a niche American sport has now evolved into a truly global sporting phenomenon.
