As I aim to continue my progress developing business opportunities in both pickleball and sports travel this past year, a conference I've been eagerly anticipating (and nearly attended in 2024) is making its return in Miami — RacquetX.

This conference, which combines elements of an interactive festival as well, is rapidly becoming an essential event for anyone involved in the business side of racquet sports.

Tennis, the king/queen of them all, has always held a special place with me. A passion fueled by admiring legends like John McEnroe and Andre Agassi in my youth further developed when I landed my first ever job in sports coming out of university with Tennis Canada.

Today, I am wholeheartedly devoted to my newfound enthusiasm for pickleball, taking advantage of the swift rise in participation. Consequently, I have officially committed myself to three days of learning and networking at the end of the month all held at the Miami Beach Convention Centre.

Here is a snapshot of the sessions I have already targeted...

  • Pickleball at a Crossroads: Navigating the Wild West of Equipment, Standards, and Regulations

  • The Next Gen: The Padel and Pickleball Race for Olympic Status, and how the U.S. is readying the Padellers and Picklers of the future for Olympic Stardom

  • Winning Strategies in Sports Marketing: Insights from Leaders in Racquet Sports

  • The Feeling of Hospitality: Crafting Unforgettable Experiences

RacquetX is shaping up to be the ideal event for growing current opportunities I've uncovered. I'm excited to continue exploring the evolution of pickleball, learn the latest trends I catch with new sports like padel and to engage with other rooted industry leaders attending.

The countdown is on, let's meet up at RacquetX 2025...
